Latest DNI Big Lie About Foreign US Election Meddling

Throughout the post-WW II era, the CIA notoriously interfered in scores of foreign elections worldwide - along with countless successful and failed attempts to topple foreign governments by coups and other dirty tricks.
The late William Blum documented US interference in the internal affairs of countless other countries. Explaining why they’ll never be a coup in Washington, he said it’s “because there’s no American embassy there.”
Not a shred of evidence suggests Russia or any other countries interfered in America’s political process. Accusations when made are Big Lies. Yet they persist, nothing credible backing them, just baseless claims.
They repeat with disturbing regularity, supported by the dominant media echo chamber, operating as press agents for US dark forces.
Last August, neocon extremist DNI Dan Coats turned truth on its head saying “I can say definitively that it’s a sufficient national security concern about Chinese meddling, Iranian meddling and North Korean meddling” in the US political process, along with Russia, adding:
“Those are the four countries that we’re most concerned about…(I)t’s…a priority of mine to make sure that we’re using the full range of our capabilities to protect not just the elections but a whole range of vulnerable systems in the United States, vulnerable to cyber warfare operations in the – in the government and in the private sector.”
Coats’ remarks were bald-faced lies, repeated on repeated on December 21, saying “activity we (saw) was consistent with what we shared in the weeks leading up to the (2016 and 2018 midterm) election(s).”
“Russia, and other foreign countries, including China and Iran, conducted influence activities and messaging campaigns targeted at the United States to promote their strategic interests.”
He also said: “At this time, the Intelligence Community does not have intelligence reporting that indicates any compromise of our nation’s election infrastructure that would have prevented voting, changed vote counts, or disrupted the ability to tally votes” - effectively contradicting his above statement, exposing it as a Big Lie.
On September 12, Trump signed Executive Order 13848 - “Imposing Certain Sanctions in the Event of Foreign Interference in a United States Election,” adding:
“(I)nterfer(ing) in or undermin(ing) public confidence in (US) elections…constitutes an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign policy of the” US - triggering presidential authority under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA).
It permits the regulation of commerce after declaring a national emergency in response to an alleged threat to America by a foreign state – despite none occurring since WW II ended, notably no threats posed by Russia, China, Iran, or nations victimized by US aggression.
EO 13848 states that “(a)ll property and interests in property that are in the United States, that hereafter come within the United States, or that are or hereafter come within the possession or control of any (US designated) persons (or entities involved in US election interference, directly or indirectly) are blocked and may not be transferred, paid, exported, withdrawn, or otherwise dealt in…”
In August 2017, Trump signed the so-called Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (CAATSA) into law - targeting Russia, Iran and North Korea.
Near unanimously passed by Congress (419 for v. 3 House members against, along with 98 Senator members supporting the measure v. 2 alone against), it authorizes Trump to impose unlawful unilateral sanctions on the above-designated countries.
Hundreds of Russian, Iranian, and North Korean individuals and entities have already been targeted by Washington.
CAATSA and Trump’s EO 13848 assures the continuation of sanctions war on all nations refusing to subordinate their sovereignty to Washington’s will.
What’s escalating is what I called a path toward WW III in a previous article, an ominous possibility that may be inevitable because of Washington’s rage to dominate all other nations.
No sovereign independent ones are permitted, existing ones targeted for regime change.
Premeditated aggressive war is the favored US strategy. If waged against nuclear-powered Russia or China, we all may be doomed.
That’s the ominous possibility given how Republicans and undemocratic Dems operate. Their diabolical agenda is humanity’s greatest threat.
