Traitor Guaido Calls for Military Coup to Topple Maduro

On Tuesday, a video of imposter Guaido and others in military attire, along with coup plotter Leopoldo Lopez, violating his house arrest by appearing in public, called for a military coup to topple President Maduro.
Bellowing “(t)he moment is now,” Guaido claimed (a likely combination of Venezuelan military deserters, along with US recruited Colombian and other paramilitary thugs) will go to the streets to “protect Venezuela’s Constitution” — anti-government actions flagrantly flouting it.
Maduro confirmed that a coup attempt is underway, small numbers of militants involved with other anti-government elements.
Venezuelan Information Minister Jorge Rodriguez tweeted the following, translated from Spanish to English, saying:
“We inform the people of Venezuela that we are currently confronting and deactivating a small group of traitorous military personnel who positioned themselves in the Altamira Distributor to promote a coup d’etat against the Constitution and the peace of the Republic.”
He called on Venezuela’s military and civilians to be on “high alert,” authorities acting to thwart the US-orchestrated coup attempt.
Defense Minister Vladimir Lopez denounced what’s going on, accusing Guaido of aiming to “fill the country with violence,” affirming the loyalty of Venezuela’s military to President Maduro, stressing the situation at all military bases is normal, adding:
The army “stands firm in defense of the National Constitution and the legitimate authorities. Military units remain loyal to their commanders” and the republic.
Operating as the Trump regime’s designated puppet/usurper in waiting, political nobody Guaido is guilty of sedition and/or treason, a traitor to his country and people for special benefits no doubt received from DLT hardliners, likely including large amounts of cash offshore in his name.
Venezuela’s military and vast majority of its ordinary people oppose the Trump regime’s aim to end Bolivarian social democracy.
On nationwide TV, head of Venezuela’s National Constituent Assembly Diosdado Cabello called on government supporters to turn out en masse at the presidential palace to defend Bolivarian social democracy against the US plot to topple it.
AP News said Maduro’s government is “putting down a small coup attempt by military ‘traitors’ working with right-wing opponents.”
Bolivian President Evo Morales tweeted the following:
“We strongly condemn the coup attempt in #Venezuela, by the right wing that is submissive to foreign interests,” adding:
“The United States with its interference and promoting coups seeks to provoke violence and death in #Venezuela.”
“It does not care about human losses, only its interests. We must be vigilant and united so that the coup plotters never return to our region.”
This is a developing story. More on it in a follow-up report as further information becomes available.
A Final Comment
It’s unclear if what’s going on is a Trump regime plot to have Guaido and his henchmen arrested, giving its hardliners a pretext for possible military intervention.
Developments as they unfold bear close watching. Key is preserving and protecting Bolivarian social democracy.
