Kremlin Response to Russiagate Hysteria
by Stephen Lendman (stephenlendman.org – Home – Stephen Lendman)
The Mueller report exposed the Russiagate myth of Trump team collusion with Moscow to help DLT triumph over Hillary, along with no obstruction of justice by Trump. More on this below.
Throughout most of Vladimir Putin’s tenure as Russia’s president, greatly escalated after the Obama regime replaced democracy in Ukraine with putschist rule, hostility toward Russia exceeded the worst of the Cold War years — at a fever pitch before and after release of the Mueller report.
It risks direct confrontation between the world’s dominant superpowers, unthinkable nuclear war if things get pushed too far.
Why, instead of mutual cooperation for world peace, stability and security, a world safe and fit to live in, governance serving all people equitably, the best of all possible worlds?
It’s all about US dark force rage for unchallenged global dominance, wanting dominion over planet earth, its resources and populations.
It’s about Russian sovereign independence, refusing to subordinate it to US interests, Kremlin opposition to US imperial wars, and pursuit of multi-world polarity – defeating the aims of US dark forces if achieved.
US media operate as imperial press agents, manipulating the public mind against Russia, feeding it managed news misinformation and disinformation – creating nonexistent threats through the power of repetitive fear-mongering, the tactic used against all US invented enemies.
Propaganda works. Most people believe rubbish fed them by government officials and supportive media because it drowns out truth-telling.
People are manipulated to accept things harming their rights, well-being and safety, to believe wars of aggression are liberating ones, and war OF terror (not on it) is all about eliminating its scourge – unaware it was created and supported by the US and its imperial partners.
For Americans, the chance of being struck by lightning is much greater than becoming a terrorist attack victim.
Death by auto accident, preventable diseases, violence at home by one family member against another, alcoholism or excessive use of harmful legal drugs is infinitely higher – facts ignored to hype fear of nonexistent threats.
In response to the heavily redacted 448-page Mueller report — few, if any, in Congress or the public read — Russia responded in detail to its fabricated claims about Kremlin US election meddling.
Not a shred of evidence backs falsified allegations and accusations because there’s nothing to reveal.
When not made beyond a reasonable doubt, the gold standard for proving guilt as charged, they’re groundless. The Big Lie took on a life of its own through endless repetition – by the US intelligence community, establishment media before and after release of the Mueller report, and material in it.
In response to a question about false claims of Russian US election meddling in June 2017, Vladimir Putin said the following:
“It is an attempt to lay the blame at someone else’s door. This is not our problem. The problem is in US politics.”
“The other team lost. They are reluctant to acknowledge the mistake. It is easier to say, ‘We are not to blame. The Russians are to blame. They interfered in our election” – no matter how fabricated and absurd the accusation.
“It reminds me of anti-Semitism (claiming) the Jews are to blame for everything. We know what such sentiments can lead to. They lead to nothing good. The thing to do is simply to work and think of how to get things right.”
“(T)his problem is rooted in the domestic developments in the United States…(W)e did not start it” or want it to go on.
Russia’s embassy in Washington responded to Mueller’s baseless accusations of Kremlin US election meddling, its 120-page report titled: “The Russiagate Hysteria: A Case of Severe Russiaphobia,” saying:
No Russian interference in the US electoral process or other internal affairs occurred. “We call on our American partners (sic) to finally disavow these allegations and join efforts to repair the damage to bilateral relations, for the sake of our peoples and global security.”
Russia persists in calling the US its “partner” when no partnership existed since the 1917 Russian revolution – other than during WW II to defeat the scourge of Nazism and other short-lived interregnum periods, notably at the end of the Reagan era.
Russian embassy (RE below): “We hope that the end of the Mueller saga will contribute to further dispelling the smoke and mirrors on this topic.”
The report is out. The “saga” continues endlessly as long as Trump remains president, Dems aiming to use it to try defeating him in 2020.
RE: “The first step – the disavowal of the ‘collusion theory’ – was taken. But if all of the categorical allegations heard all this time turned out to be patently false, why not make the next logical move and fact-check the ‘Russian meddling’ narrative?”
That’s not how imperialism works, wanting all sovereign independent nations transformed into subservient vassal states, what hegemonic USA aims for, Russia and China its key targets.
They’re the only nations standing in the way of US unchallenged global dominance, why mutual cooperation is rejected.
It’s why unthinkable nuclear war remains an ominous possibility, maybe something inevitable – humanity’s greatest threat, able to destroy planet earth and all its life forms if launched.
RE: “After three years, more than 8,000 publications in just four main outlets (Washington Post, New York Times, CNN and MSNBC), endless congressional inquiries, 22 months of the work of Robert Mueller that cost taxpayers an estimated $32 million, more than 2,800 subpoenas, 500 witnesses interrogated, and as many search warrants, an obvious conclusion is reached – there was no collusion.”
Indisputable facts don’t matter, just objectives pushed by pols and supportive media, why Russiagate has a life of its own, persisting despite Mueller dismissing charges of Trump collusion and obstruction of justice.
Russia “fruitlessly” asked the US to provide evidence of election meddling accusations against it. Repeated requests were stonewalled “every single time.”
RE: It’s time for Russia and the US to “join efforts to repair the damage to bilateral relations” – a futile diplomatic outreach like many times before.
No Russian hacking or other US election meddling occurred, no interference of any kind in its internal affairs, no threat posed by the Russian Federation against the US or any other nations.
US dark forces are hellbent for unchallenged global dominance by whatever it takes to achieve their objectives.
Release of the Mueller report and Russia’s detailed response changed nothing!
