The NYT v. Trump on Russiagate

by Stephen Lendman (stephenlendman.org - Home - Stephen Lendman)

Trump is a serial liar on most everything. He’s an unindicted war criminal, a front man for dark forces running America, a servant of Wall Street and other corporate interests - hostile to peace, equity and justice.

He’s right about major media fake news and Russiagate when doubting US intelligence community falsified claims.

The NYT challenged Trump, saying “over 250 times (he) attacked the Russia inquiry” - a deplorable witch-hunt devoid of legitimacy the Times supports.

On Friday, he again slammed the ongoing probe, calling the “whole situation a rigged witch hunt, a totally rigged deal.”

Make no mistake. He’s absolutely right. NYT Big Lies claim otherwise, accusing Trump of wrongfully bashing the Russia probe scores of times.

If the Times and other media scoundrels reported accurately on the issue, there likely never would have been House and Senate investigations over nothing, no special counsel Mueller witch-hunt probe.

No Russian interference in America’s political process occurred, no collusion between the Trump team and Kremlin to aid his electoral triumph over Hillary - no evidence proving these and related allegations.

The Times is involved in the endless campaign to keep the Big Lie alive, furious over Trump defeating media darling Hillary, along with seeking improved relations with Russia, wanting him delegitimized and ousted from office for the wrong reasons.

He’s right claiming undemocratic Dems invented Russiagate. The Times calling his claim “false” is a bald-faced lie.

He’s right about criticizing the DNC for refusing to turn over its server for forensic examination, a way to prove no hacking occurred.

He’s right saying it didn’t happen. Information was leaked by a Dem insider, not hacked by Russia or anyone else.

The US intelligence community, NYT and other media scoundrels lied claiming otherwise.

The Times downplayed Hillary and the DNC’s involvement in financing former UK MI6 spy Christopher Steele’s dodgy dossier on Trump - falsely calling it “opposition research.” It was character assassination based on Big Lies, the whole ugly business fabricated.

The Times lied claiming Hillary had nothing to do with the Clinton Foundation’s uranium deal with Russia, falsely claiming she wasn’t “personally involved.” As secretary of state, Hillary used her position for profit-making.

The controversial uranium deal involved Canadian company Uranium One, a majority-owned Rosatom subsidiary, Russia’s atomic energy agency.

After the deal was announced, Hillary was paid $500,000 from a Russian investment bank for a Moscow speech - an obvious conflict of interest for her as secretary of state at the time.

Judicial Watch (JD) FOIA lawsuits learned about “over 200 conflicts-of-interest rulings that led to $48 million for the Clintons during (Hillary’s) tenure as secretary of state.”

JD president Tom Fitton suggested “cash and secrecy on this Russian uranium deal (was) corrupt and criminal.”

The Times lied claiming Steele’s dodgy dossier had nothing to do with Mueller’s appointment as special council. Fabricated rubbish in it was key behind initiating his endless witch-hunt investigation.

Congressional and Mueller probes since early last year uncovered no evidence of Russian US election meddling, nothing suggesting Trump’s team colluded with Moscow to defeat Hillary.

Mueller never should have been appointed, his probe unrelated to a legitimate investigation.

Conflicts of interest alone should have disqualified him, including close ties to sacked FBI director James Comey.

It makes him a potential witness in his own probe. FBI involvement was hugely biased. Anti-Trump, anti-Russia wrongdoing should have ended the witch-hunt straightaway, what was unjustified in the first place.
