In America, killer cops get away with murder repeatedly nationwide. Inner city minority communities are virtual war zones.
Police kill over 1,000 victims annually, mostly Black and Latino youths, accountability almost never forthcoming.
So-called “justifiable homicides” most often are cold-blooded murders. A badge in America is license to kill.
Israel operates the same way against Palestinians, killing them with impunity. Occupied Territories are virtual free-fire zones, soldiers and police allowed to use live fire against demonstrators - women and children treated as abusively as male youths and adults.
For Israeli security forces, murdering Palestinians is all in a day’s work. Rare investigations when conducted are whitewashed virtually always.
Palestinians wanting to live free are gunned down in cold blood. Survivors have no chance for redress or justice.
Life in Occupied Palestine includes land, sea and air attacks, multiple daily neighborhood incursions, slow-motion genocide, separation walls, checkpoints, ethnic cleansing, targeted killings, bulldozed homes, dispossessions, isolated communities, mass arrests, torture, gulag imprisonment, and denial of fundamental rights guaranteed under international law Israel’s spurns with impunity.
Washington funds its killing machine, providing billions of dollars annually for militarism, marauding, mayhem and murder.
Daily warfare is waged throughout the Territories, 24-year-old Mohammad Zain al-Jabari one of countless Israeli victims.
Deaf and mute, Israeli soldiers lethally shot him in Hebron on Friday. Efforts to save him failed.
He died at an area hospital, following an incident involving Israeli soldiers firing live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets and toxic tear gas canisters at Palestinian demonstrators.
An IDF statement lied claiming Jabari threw a Molotov cocktail at them. He was physically and mentally impaired, unable to do anything of the sort - gunned down in cold blood threatening no one.
According to his uncle Abu Nasser, he’s survived by a four-year-old child, explaining he “loved Palestine. He was a source of pride for our family. His death was a shock, and it won't be easy for us.”
Since Trump’s Jerusalem declaration over two months ago, Israeli forces killed around 30 Palestinians in cold blood, mostly involved in demonstrating against his move.
Endless Israeli violence and other forms of brutality reflect daily reality in the West Bank, East Jerusalem and Gaza - no end of it in prospect, no possibility for just treatment at the hands of a brutal occupier.
