WaPo Commentary Promotes the Skripal Incident Big Lie

Anyone with minimum intelligence knows the March 4 incident was a likely joint US/UK false flag, the latest pretext to demonize Russia, a dangerous provocation, elevating Russophobic hysteria more than already, risking serious consequences if things continue on their present course.
Lynn Ellen Patyk is Dartmouth College Professor of Russian, a Public Voices Fellow at the Ford Foundation-financed OpEd Project - connected to universities, corporate and other foundations, NGOs, and right-wing think tanks.
The neocon/CIA house organ Washington Post featured her commentary headlined “The real reason Russia blames Britain for the Skripal poisonings: Russia and the art of ‘provocation,’ “ saying:
“(T)he international community has come to the unshakable conclusion that Russia was behind the poisoning of Sergei Skripal,” - Patyk disgracefully calling “evidence of Russia’s involvement…damning,” adding:
“No one seems to have any doubt that the Russians did it - except, of course, the Russians.”
Fact: Even the lame, halt and blind know Russia had nothing to do with whatever happened. It’s unclear precisely what because no one died from a claimed deadly military-grade nerve agent able to kill anyone exposed in minutes - nor has Britain released any information backing its accusations.
Fact: Every nation going along with the US/UK scam knows it’s phony - pressured, bullied or bribed to support it.
Patyk mocked Russian officials for denouncing what they correctly called a provocation, the latest one following numerous others, more surely to come, maybe more provocative than earlier ones.
She redefined the meaning of provocations. According to Merriam-Webster, it’s “something that provokes, arouses, or stimulates.”
Oxford Dictionaries call it “action or speech that makes someone angry, especially deliberately.” According to the Cambridge Dictionary, its “an action that is intended to cause a reaction, esp. anger or annoyance.”
Patyk claims “(f)or Westerners, a provocation is typically understood as a military action strategically intended to escalate a conflict by provoking the enemy to strike out and thereby justify further aggression.”
Few geopolitical provocations go this far. Others like blowing up the USS Maine in Havana harbor, the Gulf of Tonkin incident, and 9/11 (state-sponsored false flags with specific aims in mind) resulted in US wars of aggression.
Patyk admitted provocations are staged with political aims in mind - “to goad (an) enemy into reacting to the provocation and to win control of the narrative of guilt and blame.”
She omitted what’s most important to explain - major media supporting the official narrative unquestionably, repeating it ad nauseam, the power of endless repetition over the airwaves and in print accomplishing what politicians on their own cannot.
US and other Western consumers of media disinformation, Big Lies and fake news can be manipulated to believe almost anything - no matter how preposterous.
If Western media did their jobs responsibly, incidents like the Skripal false flag and numerous others would be exposed, the scams failing to achieve their diabolical objectives.
Clearly Russia had nothing to do with whatever may have happened to father and daughter Skripal, along with police detective Nick Bailey.
No one died, including dozens of others they came in contact with. Yulia Skripal improved markedly, conscious and able to speak, according to her doctor.
She visited her “Vkontakte” (social media) page on March 7 - three days after the alleged poisoning incident when she was allegedly at death’s door - the most obvious red flag so far.
Perhaps Sergey Skripal will make a “miraculous recovery ahead” - no harm done to anyone from the staged incident accept victimized Russia.
Patyk went along with Theresa May’s Big Lie, falsely portraying Britain a victim of “unlawful use of force” - perpetrated by the UK, surely along with Washington, to escalate Russophobic hysteria to a greater level than already.
Patyk: “The international reaction to the attack-cum-provocation served Putin’s interests by providing compelling support for his own narrative of a grand anti-Russian conspiracy, one that for his home audience legitimized his reelection as the only strong man capable of defending Russia’s national interests.”
To a fault, Putin and other top Kremlin officials seek normalized relations with Washington and the West - despite the US and UK considering Russia their number one adversary.
The Skripal incident puts rapprochement more out-of-reach than already - ill-serving Putin’s interests, clearly not helping them.
The staged false flag was another major body blow to East/West relations, risking direct confrontation if things continue getting worse.
