Trump’s JCPOA Pullout Big Lies

Straightaway in office, Trump proved himself a world-class scoundrel, a war criminal multiple times over, a mortal enemy of freedom-loving people everywhere – at home and abroad.
He’s also proof positive that virtually all politicians lie, notably US, other Western and Israeli ones. Nothing they say can be believed.
The White House website posted phony reasons for Trump’s JCPOA pullout:
Claim: It was “one of the worst and most one-sided transactions the United States has ever entered into.”
Fact: Iran sacrificed much more than it got in return – in the end likely getting nothing with Trump’s pullout, reimposition of nuclear-related sanctions, and vow to pile on tough new ones, no matter how illegal.
Claim: Trump withdrew from the JCPOA because “it failed to protect America’s national security interests.”
Fact: The deal protected US security. Pulling out heightened the risk of war with Iran, possibly involving Russia the way it responsibly intervened in Syria, pitting the world’s dominant nuclear powers against each other if things go this way.
Claim: “The JCPOA enriched (Iran) and enabled its malign behavior, while at best delaying its ability to pursue nuclear weapons and allowing it to preserve nuclear research and development.”
Fact: The deal never fulfilled its promise because of hostile US breaches by Obama and Trump.
Fact: For nearly 40 years, Washington has been hostile to Iran for its sovereign independence, not for any threat it poses.
Fact: Refusing to bow to America’s will prevents it from achieving regional hegemony along with Israel – their long sought goal.
Fact: Unilaterally imposing sanctions on any nations is flagrantly illegal.
White House: Nations and enterprises continuing to do business with Iran after a wind down period “will risk severe consequences” – meaning likely US sanctions imposed on them.
Claim: US withdrawal from the JCPOA “will pressure (Iran) to alter its…malign activities…(T)his step will help ensure global funds stop flowing towards illicit terrorist and nuclear activities.”
Fact: No so-called Iranian malign, illicit terrorist and (illegal) nuclear activities exist – how Washington operates, not the Islamic Republic.
Claim: Iran negotiated the JCPOA in bad faith, and the deal gave the Iranian regime too much in exchange for too little.”
Fact: Like numerous times before, Washington negotiated in bad faith, not Iran. The Islamic Republic sacrificed much more than it got in return – now likely amounting to nothing because of US duplicity.
Claim: “(I)ntelligence recently released by Israel provides compelling details about Iran’s past secret efforts to develop nuclear weapons, which it lied about for years.”
Fact: Claims made by Netanyahu were fabricated, not a shred of evidence supporting them – fooling no one but Trump apparently.
Fact: Netanyahu and the US president are serial liars. Nothing they say can be believed, proved overwhelmingly time and again.
Claim: “The JCPOA failed to deal with the threat of Iran’s missile program and did not include a strong enough mechanism for inspections and verification.”
Fact: Iran’s missile program is entirely legitimate. Other countries have similar programs – supported, not criticized, by Washington.
Fact: IAEA inspections of Iranian nuclear facilities are by far the most rigorous in the world. America and Israel forbid inspections of their sites.
Claim: “The JCPOA foolishly gave (Iran) a windfall of cash and access to the international financial system for trade and investment.”
“Instead of using the money from the JCPOA to support the Iranian people at home, (Iran) funded a military buildup and continues to fund its terrorist proxies, such as Hizballah and Hamas.”
Fact: The JCPOA gave Iran nothing. Some of its illegally seized assets were unfrozen. Hezbollah is a democratically part of Lebanon’s government. Hamas is Palestine’s legitimate government, Abbas an Israeli anointed puppet with no legitimacy whatever.
No “Iranian aggression” exists, no “path to a nuclear weapon,” no “malign activities,” no involvement in committing “atrocities against the Syrian people,” no “escalat(ing) the conflict” in Yemen, no support for terrorists in Iraq, no facilitating instability in Lebanon.
Washington, Israel and their rogue allies repeatedly blame other nations and victimized people for their high crimes.
Iran forthrightly supports regional peace and stability, free from the scourge of US and Israeli aggression, along with ISIS and other terrorists they support.
