US Terror-Bombs Syrian and Allied Forces

by Stephen Lendman (stephenlendman.orgHome – Stephen Lendman)

Syrian and allied forces are combating US-supported terrorists in Syria.

Russia intervened to help in September 2015 – at Assad’s request, its anti-terrorist operations entirely legal.

Pentagon forces began operating in Syria in September 2014. They dominate the so-called “coalition,” waging naked aggression against a sovereign independent nation – flagrantly violating international law, aiming to replace Assad with pro-Western puppet governance.

There’s nothing “civil” about ongoing conflict. So-called “rebels” are US-supported terrorists.

Western media reporting about the war is some of the worst in memory, suppressing hard truths about what’s going on, disgracefully blaming Assad for US-led high crimes of war and against humanity against the nation and its people.

Key guilty parties in the conflict include America, Britain, France, other NATO nations, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan and Turkey.

Russia, Iran and Hezbollah are on the right side of history, supporting Syrian sovereign independence and territorial integrity, opposing US-supported terrorists.

On Wednesday into Thursday, Trump escalated war in Syria more than already. US-led terror-bombing massacred around 100 Syrian and allied forces in Deir Ezzor province.

A CENTCOM statement lied, claiming Syrian and allied forces conducted “an unprovoked attack against (so-called) Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) headquarters,” adding:

“The Coalition remains committed to focusing on the defeat-Daesh mission in the Middle Euphrates River Valley and asserts its non-negotiable right to act in self-defense.”

Fact: Kurdish YPG fighters and Arab terrorists responsible for gruesome atrocities against Syrian civilians comprise the so-called Syrian Democratic Forces – nothing democratic about them.

Fact: Government and allied forces are combating all terrorist fighters to restore peace and stability to the country – their legal self-defense right under international law.

Fact: The US-led overnight attack was naked aggression against Syrian and allied forces.

Fact: Washington supports the scourge of ISIS it pretends to oppose, using them as imperial foot soldiers along with other terrorist fighters against Assad.

On Wednesday, Sergey Lavrov slammed US intentions in Syria, saying “they say that their presence in Syria will continue until they are convinced that a stable political settlement process has begun in the country and that it will produce results that serve Washington’s policies,” adding:

“Looks like in Syria, the Americans have embarked on the course aimed at dividing the country. Plans for the actual partition of Syria do exist, and we are aware of that.”

Yesterday’s US attack against Syrian forces wasn’t the first one led by Pentagon warplanes. Last April, the Pentagon launched 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles against Syria’s Shayrat airbase.

An alleged April 4 Khan Sheikhoun CW attack was cited as the pretext, government forces falsely blamed.

The incident was staged, fake video and photos used. Assad had nothing to do with what happened – a likely CIA-orchestrated incident.

At the time, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman General Igor Konashenkov said US officials presented no “proof of the presence of chemical weapons” at Shayrat, or that government forces were responsible for the incident, adding:

“The airfield was visited by dozens of mass media representatives, by the local administration, firefighters, police, not to mention Syrian servicemen.”

“Neither depots, or ammunition containing chemical weapons have been found at the” base. Its personnel wore no “gas masks” or protective clothing – vital to use if a CW attack occurred.

Throughout years of war, US-supported terrorists alone conducted CW attacks. No evidence proves government forces ever used these terror-weapons.

The staged Kahn Sheikhoun incident aimed to undermine peace talks. The Pentagon-led overnight aggression on Syrian and allied forces aimed to escalate conflict.

Washington wants it continued endlessly to gain another imperial trophy, part of its sinister agenda to eliminate all sovereign independent states – Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, Venezuela and Syria its prime targets for regime change.
