Putin-Bashing Russian Election Reports

Russian elections are scrupulously open, free, and fair. Western reports claiming otherwise are bald-faced lies.
Over 1,500 foreign observers are monitoring today’s election, a record number.
According to Russian upper house Foreign Affairs Committee chairman Konstantin Kosachev, it shows great international interest in the election, as well as its openness.
It shames America’s sham process, a one-party state with two extremist right wings, a fantasy democracy, not the real thing like in Russia.
In 2012, foreign observers called Russia’s monitoring system the world’s best, noting polling station video monitoring exceeds anything in other countries.
Following the election at a Moscow press conference, monitors said voting proceeded without irregularities, minor things only.
Italian monitor Alessandro Mussolini issued a statement saying:
“Judging by the results of our visits to the polling stations, we can make a statement that the Russian video monitoring system exceeds all international standards. It is wonderful that this complicated election mechanism is working.”
Bulgarian monitor Milan Bozhevich said “(e)verthing was…transparent and open. Russia has opened a new page in history today. There is a broadcast of the Russian elections all over the world.”
Other monitors made similar comments, praising Russia’s electoral process. Expect much the same this year after polls close.
The Russophobic NYT is militantly hostile to Putin - admitting he’s “popular and expected to win big,” disgracefully calling Russia’s process “a hollow exercise,” accusing Putin of “pugnacious tactics,” adding:
“In the past, abuses have occurred through various methods including multiple voting or ballot stuffing, especially in some 15 regions with a long history of bending election rules.”
Post-election comments from independent monitors exposed Times disinformation - truth-telling banned from its reports.
The neocon/CIA house organ Washington Post falsely claimed voter turnout in Russia has been falling for years, adding “there’s reason to doubt” reported figures, citing no evidence disproving them.
It cited anti-Putin Levada Center polling firm estimating voter turnout as low as 52%. Early voter reponse suggests otherwise.
Russia’s elections aren’t money-controlled like America’s. They represent democracy in action, absent in the self-styled “land of the free and home of the brave.”
Western media reports on Russia are scandalous, including about its presidential election, the way things should be run everywhere.
CNN ranks at the bottom of a sordid US television media barrel, specializing in Putin and Trump bashing - all propaganda all the time, news and information the way it should be abandoned long ago.
Why anyone watches is hard to explain. On Sunday, it headlined “Russians vote as Vladimir Putin seeks tighter grip on power,” saying:
“While the vote may seem like a repeat of the Putin-dominated 2012 election, this one is particularly charged with anti-Western sentiment.”
Like other Western media, CNN doesn’t let facts influence it deplorable reporting - giving disinformation a bad name.
Putin is certain to be reelected for another six-year term. The only unknowns are by how great a majority and voter turnout.
