EU Split on Attacking Syria

It’s hard knowing precisely what Trump intends, on Monday tweeting an attack on Syria coming in 24 – 48 hours.
His latest tweet says: “Never said when an attack on Syria would take place. Could be very soon or not so soon at all!”
“In any event, the United States, under my Administration, has done a great job of ridding the region of ISIS. Where is our “Thank you America?”
Trump never met an issue he didn’t lie about. Washington created and supports ISIS, along with al-Qaeda and other terrorist groups – arming, funding and directing them.
Russia smashed ISIS, not Trump. It’s down but not out. Washington continues supporting the terrorist group.
France’s Macron matches Trump’s deceit, saying “(w)e have the proof that last week, chemical weapons – at least chlorine gas – were used by” Assad, adding:
“We have to make a decision at the right moment, when we will consider it useful and the most effective…working closely” with Washington.
He has no proof other than what’s invented, nothing credible. Syria is a former French colony, Macron perhaps eager to regain control of the country, along with Washington and Israel.
Germany’s Angela Merkel and Italy’s Paolo Gentiloni won’t participate in US military actions against Syria. So far, only France, Britain and Israel are on board for escalating aggression.
Reportedly Putin and Netanyahu had a heated conversation on Syria, both leaders opposing the other’s position.
Putin demanded Israel cease airstrikes on Syrian targets, insisting its sovereignty be respected, perhaps closing its airspace to Israeli warplanes, Russia’s S-400 defense systems able to down them if further attacks are launched.
Netanyahu uses the same canard repeatedly when challenged on Israeli aggression in Syria, claiming he’s acting to prevent a permanent Iranian military presence in the country, along with deterring weapons sent to Hezbollah.
Both leaders reportedly rejected the other’s positions. A Kremlin readout of their conversation said the following:
“Upon an initiative of the Israeli side, a telephone conversation took place between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.”
“The Syrian issue was discussed, including the recent missile strikes on the T-4 airfield in Homs by the Israeli Air Force.”
“Vladimir Putin stressed the fundamental importance of respecting the sovereignty of Syria and called for refraining from any actions that might further destabilize the situation in the country and pose a threat to its security.”
Nothing was said about Netanyahu’s reply. Putin is diplomatic to a fault, Netanyahu a world class thug.
Russian expert John Helmer said the following:
“WHEN THE RULE OF LAW WAS DESTROYED IN SALISBURY, LONDON AND THE HAGUE, AND THE RULE OF FRAUD DECLARED IN WASHINGTON, THAT LEAVES ONLY THE RULE OF FORCE IN THE WORLD.”
THE STAVKA (armed forces high command) MET IN MOSCOW ON GOOD FRIDAY AND IS READY.”
“THE FOREIGN MINISTRY ANNOUNCED ON SUNDAY ‘THE GRAVEST CONSEQUENCES.’ “
“THIS MEANS ONE AMERICAN SHOT AT A RUSSIAN SOLDIER, THEN WE ARE AT WAR. NOT INFOWAR, NOT CYBERWAR, NOT ECONOMIC WAR, NOT PROXY WAR. WORLD WAR.”
Much hangs in the balance as Trump weighs his options – a geopolitical know-nothing risking humanity’s fate.
