Undemocratic Dems and Media Russophobes Support Mueller’s Witch Hunt

US political and media hostility toward Russia exceeds anti-Soviet sentiment against the country during the height of the Cold War.

It’s reinvented version rages with no end of it in prospect. Russia is demonized for its sovereign independence and opposition to endless US wars of aggression. It’s also for its military superiority over America, reality not going down well at the Pentagon.

US and Russian agendas are world’s apart. Differences remain irreconcilable. The Kremlin seeks world peace and stability, along with cooperative relations with all other countries.

It’s polar opposite how America operates under Republicans and undemocratic Dems - waging endless war of aggression for unchallenged global dominance, an agenda risking nuclear war annhilation.

Both extremist right wings of US governance, as well as Washington’s intelligence community, know neither Russia or any other countries interfere in America’s political process - not earlier or now.

Claims otherwise were and remain invented for geopolitical reasons, their credibility entirely lacking.

A separate article explained that Trump appointed regime loyalist Matthew Whitaker to serve as acting attorney general after sacking Jeff Sessions.

He’ll be in charge of all DOJ matters, including Mueller’s Russiagate probe he earlier called a “witch hunt.”

Russophobic undemocratic Dems and media scoundrels are in an uproar over the appointment.

Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer disgracefully said “protecting Mueller and his investigation is paramount,” adding:

It “would create a constitutional crisis if this were a prelude to ending or greatly limiting the Mueller investigation.”

House Dem leader Nancy Pelosi tweeted: “It is impossible to read Attorney General Sessions’ firing as anything other than another blatant attempt (by Trump) to undermine (and) end the Mueller probe.”

It never should have been initiated in the first place. Shutting it down once and for all is long overdue - a Russophobic witch hunt, not a legitimate investigation.

Schumer and Pelosi unacceptably called for Whitaker to recuse himself from involvement in Mueller’s probe.

Undemocratic Dem Jerry Nadler is expected to become House Judiciary Committee chairman when the 116th Congress is sworn into office on January 3, 2019.

“The firing of Attorney General Jeff Sessions fits a clear pattern of interference from President Donald Trump in the work of the Department of Justice and the ongoing criminal investigation being conducted by Special Counsel Robert Mueller,” he roared.

One of the lead Dem Russiagate proponents, Adam Schiff, expected to be House Intelligence Committee chairman in the new Congress tweeted:

“President Trump just removed Jeff Sessions. He wants an attorney general to serve his interest, not the public.”

“Mueller’s investigation and the independence of the DOJ must be protected. Whitaker and any nominee must commit to doing both. We will protect the rule of law.”

Virtually the entire Congress and executive branch under both parties flagrantly breach it time and again.

Russiagate should have been Hillarygate, probing her email scandal, her perjur under oath in testimony to Congress, and using the Clinton Foundation as a money laundering racketeering scheme, posing as a charitable NGO, along with husband Bill and daughter Chelsea. Clinton crime family wrongdoing is longstanding.

NYT editors disgracefully asked “who’s going to protect Mr. Mueller now?” They falsely claimed his probe led to “indictments of dozens of Russian government operatives for interfering in the 2016 election.”

No one indicted had anything to do with meddling in America’s political process. Charges against Russian nationals were fabricated, no evidence presented supporting them.

No legitimate tribunal would convict anyone Mueller’s witch hunt indicted for election meddling.

The neocon/CIA-connected Washington Post claimed Sessions’ sacking imperils the Justice Department - fearing Mueller’s sham probe may be shut down, instead of demanding it.

The Wall Street Journal called Sessions’ sacking a “political mistake,” asking: “Will his successor fire special counsel Robert Mueller?”

A far more important unasked question by all media scoundrels is why was he appointed in the first place - no evidence since the 2016 presidential campaign suggesting Russian US election meddling.

On Wednesday, the ACLU shamefully urged continuation of Mueller’s witch hunt, saying:

“The Senate must demand that any nominee for attorney general must commit to not interfere in the special counsel investigation, and continue to have Robert Mueller operate under the special counsel regulation.”

With divided government once the 116th Congress is sworn in, the next two years may be more turbulent than Trump’s tenure so far - whether Mueller’s witch hunt continues or ends.

A Final Comment

A likely orchestrated demonstration outside the White House Wednesday night, protesting against Sessions’ sacking included people holding signs, saying “Protect Mueller,” others saying “Trump is a dictator.”

It’s one of many examples of public ignorance, believing rubbish fed them by dominant media - instead of relying solely on independent sources of news and opinion.

An uninformed, misinformed, and disinformed public makes it easy for US dark forces to get away with horrific high crimes and other abuses of power - things no just societies tolerate anywhere.
