Russophobe Bernie Sanders

He disgraces the office he holds, a progressive in name only, nearly always supporting the undemocratic Dem agenda, including its rage for endless wars of aggression and disgraceful Russia bashing.
The late political theorist Sheldon Wolin once called undemocratic Dems the “inauthentic opposition,” as infested with neoliberal Russophobic neocons as the GOP.
On issues mattering most, there’s nary a dime’s worth of difference between both right wings of America’s one-party state, a fantasy democracy, not the real thing.
Sanders is a card-carrying member of a deplorable political system demanding universal opposition - not from him.
He’s part of the disgraceful Washington anti-Russia crowd, during his 2016 presidential campaign sounding like a modern-day Joe McCarthy.
He lied claiming “the evidence is overwhelming” that Russia “help(ed) elect the candidate of their choice, Mr. Trump, to undermine in a significant way American democracy.”
In an earlier YouTube video, he repeated the Big Lie, saying “the US intelligence community has concluded that Russia played an active role in the 2016 election with the goals of electing Donald Trump as president.”
“The Trump campaign had repeated contacts with the senior Russian intelligence officials in the year before the election” - another bald-faced lie.
Like most others in Congress, Sanders is a hot warrior while pretending otherwise A self-serving con man best describes him.
FeeltheBern earlier said “Bernie supports enforcing economic sanctions and international pressure as an alternative to any direct military confrontation when dealing with Russia.”
“To temper Russian aggression, we must freeze Russian government assets all over the world, and encourage international corporations with huge investments in Russia to divest from that nation’s increasingly hostile political aims.”
“The United States must collaborate to create a unified stance with our international allies in order to effectively address Russian aggression.”
“(T)he United States should isolate Putin politically and economically…The entire world has got to stand up to Putin.”
Shocking stuff, exposing the real Bernie Sanders, not the persona he publicly displays!
Following the Friday indictment of 12 Russian nationals on multiple phony counts relating to US election interference, Sanders disgracefully said the following:
“The indictments announced today by the Justice Department confirm once again that Russia interfered in our elections to benefit Donald Trump” a bald-faced lie Sanders supports, adding:
“The fact that these indictments name 12 members of Russia’s military intelligence service strongly suggests that the interference was directed from the highest levels of the Russian government. It’s imperative that Special Counsel Mueller be allowed to continue his investigation free of pressure.”
"We must also speak with one voice in making clear to Vladimir Putin: ‘We will not allow you to interfere in our democratic processes or those of our allies.’ The president himself should be the one to bring this message to Putin.”
Russiagate is a scam. Mueller never should have been appointed, his mission a witch-hunt probe, not a legitimate one.
His conflicts of interest should have disqualified him, including his close ties to former FBI director James Comey - responsible for whitewashing the agency’s probe into Hillary’s criminality.
He dismissed indictable evidence instead of recommending charges be brought against her - supporting her over Trump.
The same goes for Mueller, his witch-hunt a scheme to bash Russia and delegitimize Trump.
There’s plenty to hold him accountable for - not obstruction of justice and colluding with Russia to defeat Hillary.
He won. She lost, likely because most US dark forces decided she was damaged goods.
They no doubt cut a deal with Trump, assuring he’d continue dirty business as usual.
They got what they paid for - endless wars in multiple theaters, corporate favoritism, and tax cuts for the rich, continuing the transfer of wealth from ordinary Americans to its privileged class.
The nation is run of, by and for the privileged few - Sanders part of the dirty system he supports while pretending otherwise.
