Russian Foreign Ministry on Syria, Libya and Palestine

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova (MZ below) expressed concern about escalating conditions in parts of Syria - mainly in and around terrorist-infested Idlib province.
US-supported jihadists threaten Syria’s entire northeast, including Russia Khmeimim airbase.
According to Russia’s reconciliation center in Syria, heavily armed terrorists in Idlib with foreign-supplied heavy weapons intensified shelling of nearby communities, massacring civilians, wounding many others, including women and children.
In the past two months alone, Russia’s Khmeimim airbase was attacked dozens of times by foreign-supplied drones, 55 of them destroyed.
Al-Qaeda-connected White Helmets and other terrorists filmed a staged CW false flag in Idlib’s Jisr al-Shugur community, using children and other civilians as props, wanting Assad wrongfully blamed.
Trump regime hardliners threatened naked aggression on Syrian forces if a CW incident occurs - no matter their uninvolvement in what’s planned.
Eight days of joint US/anti-Assad terrorists in southwest Syria ended, 100 marines involved with cutthroat killer jihadists, including ISIS fighters, trained by US special forces at the Pentagon’s illegal al-Tanf base near the Jordanian and Iraqi borders.
MZ: “…Washington is using a broad range of tools, from official statements to comments appearing in biased media outlets in what seems to be a bid to prepare the international public opinion to (US-led) new aggression against Syria. This is a matter of serious concern.”
“The true purpose of these actions (involve) diverting Syria from the path toward settlement and stabilization…”
“We view these actions by Washington as an attempt to artificially prolong hostilities and…bloodshed in Syria by saving terrorists affiliated to al-Qaeda from a definitive defeat.”
The Trump regime wants its “illegal military presence in Syria” preserved. “It does not matter to them that there will be more bloodshed and suffering from millions of Syrians.”
“Those guided by this vision have no misgivings when it comes to paying such a high price for aligning the outcome of the conflict that has been going on in Syria for eight years with their geopolitical goals, so that they could claim their victory in the protracted and epic Syrian conflict which has brought suffering to civilians” - pursuing their diabolical agenda for unchallenged global dominance.
“Russia strongly believes that an approach of this kind can put the world on the verge of a precipice and presents a dangerous challenge that is not limited to Syria.”
“We need to show our resolve and firmness in countering this vision by combining the efforts of all right-minded members of the international community.”
Eight years after US-led aggression in Libya ended, the country remains a cauldron of endless conflict, chaos and violence, ordinary Libyans suffering hugely.
US-supported ISIS and other terrorists infest parts of the country. Days earlier, they attacked “the office of the Libyan National Oil Corporation, deal(ing) a serious blow to the security system in Tripoli,” MZ explained, adding:
“Two attackers were killed, and about ten injured. On September 11, unknown militants launched rockets at Mitiga International Airport which had to close after reopening only a few days earlier. Luckily, nobody was killed.”
US-supported terrorists in the country prevent restoration of peace and stability Washington and its imperial partners abhor - in Libya, other war zones, and countries where the US seeks regime change.
MZ: The disastrous “Libyan scenario would have been repeated in Syria if the Russian Federation had not provided support to the legitimate government of the country when Damascus requested it.”
MZ denounced hostile Trump regime actions against Occupied Palestine and long-suffering people, including no longer supplying humanitarian aid, along with closing the PLO’s Washington mission.
In cahoots with Israel, Trump regime hardliners aim to force Palestinians’ submission to their unacceptable demands - abandoning all hope for self-determination, East Jerusalem as their exclusive capital, the right of diaspora Palestinians to return home, and other fundamental rights.
Trump regime Middle East no-peace/peace envoy Jared Kushner pretends to believe that toughness on Palestinians improves peace prospects.
DLT’s so-called “deal of the century” seeks endless occupation harshness with no prospect for conflict resolution.
He “turn(ed) a deaf ear” to peace, equity and justice for Palestinians - what’s always been unattainable since Israeli aggression stole their country, with full US/UK support and encouragement.
