Netanyahu and Kushner at the Saban Forum in Washingtonby Stephen Lendman (stephenlendman.org – Home – Stephen Lendman)
Hain Saban is a Zionist extremist, founder of the Saban Center for Middle East Policy at the hawkish Brookings Institution, now called the Center for Middle East Policy, supporting endless wars of aggression, deploring peace.
Saban a billionaire investor/film and television producer, a rabid Hillary supporter during last year’s presidential election, founder of Saban Entertainment.
By satellite from Israel, Netanyahu addressed his annual forum on Saturday – using the occasion for hate-mongering, targeting Iran viciously in nearly all his public addresses, especially for US and other Western audiences.
Turning truth on its head, he roared Iran has a “ruthless commitment to terror,” a “ruthless commitment to kill Jews,” disgracefully comparing the Islamic Republic to Nazi Germany.
Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman outrageously called Ayatollah Ali Knamenei the “new Hitler of the Middle East,” making himself sound deranged.
In 2011, Netanyahu made a similar despicable comment, saying “Hitler first began conquering the world and then started to develop nuclear arms. Khamenei is going the opposite way.”
In 2012, Israeli president Shimon Peres, an unindicted war criminal while alive, turned truth on its head, claiming “(n)o one since Hitler – except for (then) Iranian president Ahmadinejad – has publicly declared a desire to destroy an entire people and eliminate a country.”
It was a bald-faced Big Lie, repeated numerous times by Netanyahu and other Israeli hardliners.
America and Israel denigrate their adversaries by falsely comparing their leaders to Adolph Hitler, ignoring their own high crimes of war and against humanity.
Jared Kushner addressed the Saban Forum on Saturday, also featuring anti-Iran venom, touting a unified front of Saudi-led despotic monarchies hostile to the Islamic Republic.
He ludicrously called regional peace a “big priority” for Riyadh and Israel. Both countries deplore it. He lied saying Palestinian leaders trust Trump, absurdly adding:
“I think there’s a lot of the instances of great trust between Israelis and Palestinians” – ignoring nearly 70 years of ruthless Israeli persecution, brutalizing Palestinians for not being Jewish.
Addressing talks aiming for peaceful Israeli/Palestinian conflict resolution, he said Trump “has a very long career of accomplishing things that a lot of people say were impossible. We think it’s achievable.”
The process is always dead-on-arrival when initiated, this time no different from earlier.
Chances for achieving what never before was possible are nil. Israel and Washington want unconditional Palestinian surrender – not self-determination, not peace, nothing except what serves their interests, including keeping Palestinians subjugated.
