Michael Flynn Pleads Guilt to Lying to the FBI

He’s one of the little fish special council Robert Mueller’s witch-hunt went after, trying to bag the big one - the president of the United States.
Disgraceful Russiagate investigations continue, an exercise in mass deception, trying to prove a negative.
Not a shred of evidence suggests Russia interfered in America’s electoral process, or any Trump improper or illegal dealings with Moscow, despite his numerous other high crimes, including endless wars of aggression and grievously betraying the public trust.
Russiagate is a colossal scam, aiming to delegitimize Trump, perhaps impeach and remove him from office for the wrong reasons, plenty of legitimate ones, what no US administrations are ever held accountable for.
Former National Security Advisor Flynn pleaded guilty to making false statements to the FBI, relating to conversations he had during the transition period with former Russia ambassador to Washington Sergey Kislyak.
The issue never would have arisen if long knives weren’t out for Trump. No special council would have been appointed, no House and Senate investigations - over nothing made into something that doesn’t exist to find anything on Trump able to use to oust him from office, or render him to weak to govern, along with trying to prove the fabricated claim about Russian interference in last year’s election.
Mueller nailed former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort and his business partner Rick Gates, indicted on 12 counts, unrelated to Trump’s campaign or Russia.
Former campaign foreign policy advisor George Papadopoulos pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his own foreign contacts, also unrelated to Trump or Russia.
The indictment of Flynn on one count states:
“On or about January 24, 2017, defendant Michael T. Flynn did willfully and knowingly make materially false, fictitious, and fraudulent statements and representations in a manner within the jurisdiction of the executive branch of the Government of the United States, to wit, the defendant falsely stated and represented to agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Washington, DC, that:
(i) On or about December 29, 2016, Flynn did not ask the Government of Russia’s Ambassador to the United States…to refrain from escalating the situation in response to sanctions that the United States had imposed against Russia the same day; and Flynn did not recall the Russian Ambassador telling him that Russia had chosen to moderate its response to those sanctions as a result of his request; and
(ii) On or about December 22, 2016, Flynn did not ask the Russian Ambassador to delay the vote on or defeat a pending United Nations Security Council resolution; and the Russian Ambassador subsequently never described to Flynn Russia’s response to his request.”
Flynn resigned less than a month as Trump’s national security advisor, leaving on February 13, his resignation letter saying:
“I inadvertently briefed the Vice President Elect and others with incomplete information regarding my phone calls with the Russian Ambassador.”
“I have sincerely apologized to the President and the Vice President, and they have accepted my apology.”
At his plea hearing, Flynn said it was “extraordinarily painful to endure these many months of false accusations of ‘’treason’ and other outrageous acts.”
“But I recognize that the actions I acknowledged in court today were wrong, and through my faith in God I am working to set things right.”
“My guilty plea and agreement to cooperate with the Special Counsel’s Office reflect a decision I made in the best interests of my family and of our country. I accept full responsibility for my actions.”
Mueller hopes to use Flynn and others he targeted to get at Trump, along with further denigrating Russia.
The deplorable witch-hunt continues, discredited but proceeding anyway, an illegitimate John Brennan CIA operation, continued under Mike Pompeo, media scoundrels going along with the scam.
