Israel Begins Terror-Bombing Gaza

The Netanyahu regime and other Israeli hardliners consider Gaza a punching bag to terrorize with impunity - civilians considered legitimate targets when launching attacks.
In response to a rocket allegedly fired from Gaza Sunday, striking an Israeli home, lightly to moderately injuring seven family members, Israeli warplanes began terror-bombing the Strip late Monday afternoon - Trump backing Netanyahu regime aggression.
Attacks might continue for days or longer, terrorizing its two million residents. Gazan media reported Israeli airstrikes on Strip targets.
Al Jazeera’s Harry Fawcett on the Israeli/Gaza border reported “plumes of smoke coming up from the Gaza skyline,” adding:
“We’ve seen confirmation from the Israeli military that these strikes have begun. From our colleagues inside Gaza, we’re hearing that so far that the targets seem to have been empty training camps associated with Hamas’ military wing…a sea base as well.”
According to Hamas spokesman Abdullatif al-Kanoo,” (t)he (Netanyanu regime) continue(s) to impose a crippling siege on the Gaza Strip and practice(s) all kinds of aggression against Palestinians…Therefore, the Israeli occupation should bear the consequences of its actions against our people in Gaza and the West Bank and in Jerusalem as well.”
“Hamas will not leave our people undeterred. The resistance will strike back if needed. The current Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip reflects its criminal nature. The Palestinian resistance will not allow the occupation to oppress its people.”
Hamas political chief Ismail Haniya called for unity in the face of Israeli aggression, stressing “(t)he Palestinian cause is being attacked on various fronts - in Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza, as well as inside Israeli jails,” adding:
“We must face this onslaught with a united national front, and in coordination with our Arab allies…Our people and the resistance will not surrender if the occupation crosses red lines.”
Gaza’s health ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qudrah said Strip hospitals and medical personnel are on high alert, ready to treat casualties as best they can with limited resources because of the suffocating blockade.
In the White House with Trump, Netanyahu lied saying Israel is “responding forcefully to (Gazan) aggression.” As usual he has things backwards, adding “(w)e will do whatever we must do to defend our people and defend our state.”
Their only threats are internally created by extremist fascist rule. Contemptuous of Palestinian suffering, Trump expressed full support for Israeli aggression, falsely calling it self-defense.
Together with Netanyahu, he signed a proclamation, illegally recognizing sovereign Syrian Golan as Israeli territory - a flagrant international law violation.
