Iran Responds to Trump’s Baseless Accusations

Pompeo at State and Bolton as national security advisor constitute a declaration of war on Iran by political, economic, and sanctions war, hot war perhaps if these tactics fail.
With criminal psychopaths running the Washington asylum, anything is possible, including WW III with nukes, the ultimate doomsday scenario.
What’s unthinkable could happen - against any or all sovereign independent countries. Trump regime hardliners are hellbent for toppling Iran’s government, DLT earlier turning truth on its head, calling its leadership “a corrupt dictatorship…whose chief exports are violence, bloodshed, and chaos,” adding:
“We cannot let a murderous regime continue these destabilizing activities while building dangerous missiles.”
During his SOTU address, he continued his litany of Big Lies about the country, saying “(m)y (regime) has acted decisively to confront the world’s leading state sponsor of terror: the radical regime in Iran,” adding:
“To ensure this corrupt dictatorship never acquires nuclear weapons, I withdrew the United States from the disastrous Iran nuclear deal. And last fall, we put in place the toughest sanctions ever imposed on a country.”
Separately he tweeted: “The Iran Deal is defective at its core. If we do nothing, we know what will happen. In just a short time, the world’s leading state sponsor of terror will be on the cusp of acquiring the world’s most dangerous weapons.”
His bluster, bombast, and other remarks like them about Iran are disgraceful Big Lies. Israel is the region’s only nuclear armed and dangerous regime along with Washington’s presence.
Both countries and their imperial partners are at war with multiple countries, supporting terrorism, not combating it. Iran is the region’s leading proponent of world peace and stability, abhorring nuclear weapons, wanting them all eliminated.
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif responded to Trump’s overnight tirade, tweeting:
“Iranians—including our Jewish compatriots—are commemorating 40 yrs of progress despite US pressure, just as @realDonaldTrump again makes accusations against us @ #SOTU2019.”
“US hostility has led it to support dictators, butchers & extremists, who've only brought ruin to our region.”
Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qassemi accused the US of sponsoring regional terrorism by creating ISIS, al-Qaeda, and other jihadist groups, adding:
“Unfortunately, what has brought notoriety to the true followers of Judaism is the inhumane and criminal actions committed by the Zionist regime.”
“It cannot and should not be denied that what unfortunately has defamed the true followers of Judaism is the inhumane and criminal acts of the Zionist regime which has distorted the true face and place of the Jews in the world, in the name of the Jewish religion.”
He slammed Trump’s “empty, delusional and illogical accusations” against Iran, its leadership and people. His address “just repeated a whole bunch of slogans that were empty…meaningless…outrageous lies (and) distortions.”
Trump’s hateful accusations come against the backdrop of US war on humanity, its support for despotic regimes worldwide - allied with its destructive imperial agenda, its use of ISIS and other jihadists as proxy troops.
His 5,250 address continued ad nauseam for 82 minutes, the longest SOTU one since Clinton in 1995 and 1998. The Tehran Times explained the following in response to Trump’s Big Lies about Iran, saying:
“Contrary to (his) remarks…Jews are quite free to practice their own religion in Iran and they have representatives in Parliament.”
“Iran is also home to the largest Jewish population among Muslim countries in the Middle East. (Its ruling authorities are) only opposed to the stealing of the Palestinian lands by the Zionist regime of Israel.”
On February 1, the Islamic Republic began a 10-day commemoration, marking the 40th anniversary of its liberating 1979 revolution.
Its sovereign independence replaced a lost generation of US-installed fascist tyranny. Washington wants it reimposed to regain its earlier control, including over its world’s fifth largest oil reserves and second largest natural gas riches.
Washington’s imperial scourge threatens the country, all others, and free people everywhere. Its killing machine may doom us all.
