Changing UK Skripal Incident Narratives

by Stephen Lendman (stephenlendman.org - Home - Stephen Lendman)

All that’s know is what UK authorities reported, controlling the information flow, manipulating what’s said, Western media unquestionably supporting it, nothing corroborating official claims.

The official narrative changed several times, including Sergey Skripal and his daughter Yulia poisoned by a military-grade nerve agent while eating lunch at a Salisbury restaurant.

The narrative switched to Yulia unwittingly transporting the nerve agent planted in her luggage on her flight from Moscow to London.

The story then shifted to Skripal’s car, the deadly toxin smeared on its handle, suggesting he and Yulia were poisoned this way.

Next came the claim about the nerve agent perhaps in aerosolized form affecting them through the vehicle’s ventilation system.

The latest official version claims the alleged nerve agent was smeared on Skripal’s front door.

It’s unknown what happened to the Skripals, no evidence presented corroborating accusations made. Without it, they’re baseless.

What is clear is that neither Skripal was poisoned by a Novichock or other-type military-grade nerve agent. Anyone exposed would be dead in minutes.

The incident affecting the Skripals and police detective Nick Bailey happened on March 4 - Bailey now reported well, no longer ill or hospitalized.

On March 29, Salisbury District Hospital Dr. Christine Blanshard announced the following:

“I’m pleased to be able to report an improvement in the condition of Ms. Skripal. She has responded well to treatment but continues to receive expert clinical care 24 hours a day.”

Sergey Skripal is still reported in critical but stable condition. According to official reports, the Skripals, police detective Bailey and 38 others were poisoned by a military-grade nerve agent weeks ago.

No one died. Only the Skripals and Bailey were hospitalized, Bailey released a week ago, Yulia “improving rapidly,” perhaps to be well enough to go home in the coming days or weeks.

The March 4 incident was a UK false flag, Washington likely complicit in orchestrating it - framing Russia for what it had nothing to do with.

According to Putin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, statements by US and other Western officials suggest Russian assets in these countries may be seized.

Moscow is closely monitoring developments, promising appropriate responses to hostile actions against it by 28 nations so far, nothing yet announced.

On Thursday, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova issued a statement, saying:

“We realize the strength of the pressure that London and Washington, and we don’t have any doubts now they synchronized their actions in the NATO and EU formats” against allied nations.”

“We do understand how inhumane that pressure was, as they exploited the principles of solidarity and implementation of a unified foreign policy course.”

“London and Washington are the beneficiaries of this provocation and the expulsion of diplomats that followed it.”

A previous article suggested more hostile shoes likely to drop. Of greatest concern is pushing the envelope beyond the point of no return, risking catastrophic nuclear war.

Extremist lunatics running Washington and Britain make the unthinkable possible.

Lots more ahead on this issue as developments warrant.
